Qingdao NovelBeam Technology Co. Ltd. was founded in 2003, Qingdao. NovelBeam has been adapting and improving optics technology for medical, life science and micro-display projection applications, offering design solutions and rapid R&D prototyping as well as high volume manufacturing with repeatable performance and reliability. The company has a thriving team of over 200 employees with 25% of them R&D and engineering professionals.

NovelBeam constantly innovates on optical processing, high-energy optical coating, LED thermal management, LED driving technology, and customized illumination and imaging system design; holds more than 10 patents and the number continues growing. The company has built and keeps enhancing the ability of responding to market/customer demand rapidly, and developing/manufacturing ground-breaking products accordingly.

NovelBeam now owns world class manufacturing facility for several product lines including LCoS Display Optics, Optical Filter (for analytical and medical use), High-Power Laser Optics, LED Light Module and Light Source; and vertical integration capability from component level grinding, polishing, cleaning, coating, gluing, mounting to opto-electronic and opto-mechanical modules and system assembly. The company is both ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified.
